Maria Hanlin
Maria Hanlin has served as chaplain of girls’ home for abused teenage girls in California and as the Director of Admissions for the School of Theology at Claremont. Maria was the founding pastor of Light of Christ UMC in Charlotte. She also served 8 years as Executive Director at Mecklenburg Ministries, Charlotte’s interfaith organization, and 6 years as CEO of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Greensboro. Since February 2020, Maria has been honored to serve on the pastoral care team of First Presbyterian Church. She and her husband of 41 years, Tim, have three adult children.
